A Great Summer for Chicks

It has been a busy summer this year for Chicks for Charity. With the help of many cool Chicks throughout the area, we were able to have a very successful BIG EVENT.

This year, Chicks Mix ‘08 was held on Thursday, July 17 at the Toledo Zoo, and what an event it was! Over 500 local Chicks supported Assistance Dogs of America (ADAI) by raising nearly $20,000 for the organization through ticket, raffle and silent auction sales. In addition to supporting ADAI, we added many new members to our Chicks for Charity group! Thanks to everyone, including our sponsors, who participated in the event.

Don’t think we have stopped raising money for ADAI just yet! A number of events have been planned for the upcoming months including Dealin’ for Dogs and Totally Fetching. Learn more about upcoming events!

Chicks for Charity challenges each of its members to attend a CFC event or plan a fun event of your own during 2008 that will help raise money for Assistance Dogs of America.
