Junior Chicks Lemonade Stand



Six-year-old, Abby Meyer raised $15 from donations at her lemonade stand during a neighborhood garage sale on May 20! She and her friends had a great time serving the thirsty shoppers while raising money for The Victory Center.

An Evening in Tuscany





Chicks enjoyed a “Gourmet Pizza” & Wine Tasting presented by Mr. Philip Barone and Rosie’s Italian Grille to benefit The Victory Center. Chicks had a wonderful time sampling Rosie’s famous “Gourmet Pizzas” and voted the “Spicy Papas Ultimate” pizza the Chicks favorite. This fabulous evening ended with Mrs. Barone’s award-winning chocolate tiramisu and Mr. Barone serenading the group with a Frank Sinatra song.



This event raised more that $1,500 for The Victory Center. Thank you Joyce Rimmelin and Cheryl Fisher for hosting this AWESOME event!

Glass Parties
Chicks had a great time creating glass pendants and picture frames under the direction of Ann Hymel from “Fuzed.” Ann supplied all the glass, tools and protective eyewear. Chicks were taught how to cut glass and lightly glue it together. The pieces were taken back to Ann’s shop to fire in the kiln. A week later, the finished pieces were delivered to all the participants.

The two parties combined raised $320 for The Victory Center. Thank you, Jeri Wendt and Michelle McGovern, for coordinating these awesome parties!
